I am a fully licensed physician in the state of North Carolina. I am part of an independent urology practice in Charlotte, NC called Urology Specialists of the Carolinas since July 2019.
Background
My parents immigrated to New York from Taiwan for graduate school in the 80’s. I was born in upstate NY and we eventually settled in Seattle, WA.

Minimally invasive surgery, robotic surgery, prostate cancer, kidney cancer, ureteral reconstruction, general urology, kidney stones, percutaneous nephrolithotomy, erectile dysfunction, prostate issues, urinary issues, incontinence.
Personal Interests
I grew up playing music, sports, and martial arts. I
play classical guitar and video games. I enjoy the
outdoors, hiking, biking, snorkeling, kayaking, trying
new foods, and traveling. I watch football, UFC, and
Formula 1 because I am into cars.
Education
I received a bachelor of science in chemistry from the University of Washington in Seattle. I spent a few years after college at Seattle Children’s Research Institute before attending medical school.
Medical School
I graduated from New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY in 2013 with the Joseph Addonizio Memorial Award.
Residency
I matched at my home institution at New York Medical College in the urology residency program. During residency my interests revolved around teaching, endourology, and robotic surgery.
Fellowship
I completed a fellowship at Cleveland Clinic for robotic and advanced laparoscopic surgery on 6/2019. I am a certified surgeon for the da Vinci Single Port robot.
